About Me

Ayberk Korkmaz
Electrical and Electronics Engineering Student | Amateur Radio Operator (TB7AEK) | Radio Enthusiast | RF and Broadcast Technology Explorer

Hi, I’m Ayberk Korkmaz — an Electrical and Electronics Engineering student with a deep passion for RF systems, radio communication, and broadcast technologies. I'm currently on a learning journey where I combine academic knowledge with hands-on experience through real-world projects and personal experiments.

Always Learning, Always Exploring

As a student, I’m constantly exploring the evolving world of communication technologies — from analog circuits to digital signal processing, from microcontroller applications to SDR (Software Defined Radio). I believe learning never stops, and I try to turn every project, every challenge, and even every mistake into an opportunity to grow.

Amateur Radio

Operating under the callsign TB7AEK, I’ve been active in amateur radio for several years. It’s more than just a hobby to me — it’s a hands-on classroom, a global community, and a powerful tool in emergencies. I enjoy experimenting with antennas, digital modes, and emergency communication setups. Every QSO is a chance to learn something new.

Broadcasting & Radio Projects

I run my own licensed FM radio station, where I’ve been learning about studio setup, audio processing, RF planning, and STL (Studio-to-Transmitter Link) systems. I've worked with professional equipment such as RVR transmitters, Omnia processors, and Wheatstone mixers, gaining practical insight into what makes a reliable and high-quality broadcast chain.

What You’ll

On this site, I document and share my ongoing experiences — not as a final authority, but as someone who’s still learning and growing. Topics I cover include:

  • RF systems and field measurements

  • Audio quality analysis and processing

  • Broadcast equipment reviews and setups

  • DIY circuits and microcontroller projects

  • Grounding and electrical safety

  • Real-time data transmission and sync techniques

I write each post with curiosity, care, and the hope that it might help someone else who's on a similar path.

Goals & Vision

As I continue my education and gain more experience, I aim to:

  • Build regional digital broadcasting networks

  • Develop AI-assisted SDR monitoring systems

  • Design hybrid communication infrastructures for emergency use

  • Bridge the gap between amateur radio and engineering education

Let’s Connect

If you're a fellow student, engineer, amateur radio operator, or just someone curious about how radio works — I’d love to connect. Feel free to reach out through my contact page for collaborations, questions, or just to chat about cool radio stuff.
